Here is a tool for designing levels for the Ringoid game. You can send me a level code generated by this tool to my email address ssusnic [at] gmail [dot] com and so you are competing to be included in the next version of the Ringoid game as a designer of levels.
1. How to open level editor dialog?
Press EDIT LEVEL button from the main menu to open level editor dialog.
2. How to draw orbs?
Select an orb from the ORBS toolbar on the right side of the editor, move your mouse inside the ring and press left mouse button to put selected orbs in the ring. Please note, you can put orbs only inside the ring!
3. How to draw lines?
You can draw max 3 lines.
To draw a line 1 select first point named Line 1 A from the left toolbar - this is a starting point of the line 1. Drop it somewhere on the screen with your mouse.
After that select second point named Line 1 B from the left toolbar - this is an ending point of the line 1. Drop it somewhere on the screen with your mouse. Now, you should see the line 1.
To draw line 2 and line 3 use the same way as it is described for line 1.
4. How to erase elements from the screen?
Select ERASE orb from the right toolbar and drop it on any element you want to be erased.
5. What is the level code?
It is a character representation of your level. If you want to store your level then copy and paste this code in some text file on your computer. Later you can load it in the editor by transfering it from the text file using Load option.
6. What is the function of menu buttons displayed at the top of the level editor dialog? Save - save your level in the database (this option is currently under construction!) Load - load any of your saved level but at first you have to paste the correct level code into the level code textbox Play - test your level by playing it Clear - clear all elements from the screen Quit - return back to the main menu
Here are some level codes. Copy and paste one of them in the level code textbox and then press the Load button. You should see the selected level on the screen.
